Drag Cap & Drag Snaps: Gaybingo Dallas, Bellydancing, and Miss Gay Dallas America

February has been an extremely busy month and it's looking like March is heading in that direction as well. In addition to my days in drag, i have also gotten back into bellydancing--Miabella at Crescent Moon Studios is one of the most loving and amazing women i have ever met.

Saturday's Gaybingo theme was Broadway with Love and we each had our own musical to perform. i (of course) did "Memories" from Cats!!

The Sunday after Gaybingo, i bellydanced at Stratos Greek Restaurant/Tavern. i LOVE the way the color turned out on the costume and veil. Here are a few shots (video to come!). Photos courtesy of Easy Street Images Photography.

And on Wednesday night, i had the absolute honor and privilege to judge Miss Gay Dallas America. It was an evening of fierce competition and flawless performances.

My judging attire consisted of all black and my NEW Dragonlady jewelry set!!!!!!

In line to tip the gorgeous reigning Miss Gay America, Sally Sparkles. 


Whew! If that wasn't enough, i had an interview with Jamie Coull of Australia yesterday about my work as a faux queen and got a lot of work done on the Female Drag Queen Anthology book proposal.

So tonight i'm going to relax and celebrate National Margarita day watching Boylesque--an all male burlesque show. i can't wait!!
